UK universities take to Chinese social media
With around 60% of Chinese applicants to UK universities reporting that they may cancel 2020 applications, we have teamed up with the British Council to offer cost effective social media packages and webinars to regain lost ground in the UK education sector's promotion in China.
Our combined package includes social media campaigns and webinars. More information for UK universities is available here:

According to a British Council survey of 11,000 Chinese applicants in March/April, 60% of Chinese students who have applied to study in the UK in 2021 say they are either likely to cancel their applications or are undecided. The survey also reported that about 40% of those already studying outside China who have returned to China, are either unlikely to return to their university or might still decide not to travel back for their courses.

With international travel still difficult, there is little choice but to move promotional events online. Social media engagement, however, is a trend that was already underway and given its cost effective high impact nature, is likely to continue growing as a key arm of education promotion in China. Chinese social media users are now the most active in the world, and Chinese marketing came of age in the early 2000s, it largely leapfrogged over other forms of advertising led campaigns straight to a smartphone first approach.
